Munya stems from the Mozarabic word “Al-munya,” which means estate or land. Today, it’s more commonly known as a “cortijo.”
“Al-munya” not only defined a physical space but also evoked urban planning characterized by social cohesion, coexistence, and a sense of community—something that has shaped and continues to shape our history, tradition, and culture.
This is the root of our inspiration and guiding principle.
